Chester County Paint & Design Company will be glad to set up a time to measure your room/rooms for a Fee of $45.00. Any distance over 20 miles will be a $45.00 Fee, plus standard mileage rate based on IRS Guidelines (2008 rate- 50.5 cent). Payment is due at time of scheduling.

How Much Do I Need?
For a perfect job, all the wall covering selected for the project should ideally be from the same dye-lot so we print the “dye-lot number “ on the label of each bolt. To determine how much wall covering is required follow these steps:
Wallpaper
- Estimate the number of square feet required.
-Measure the ceiling height and “round up” to the next foot.
-Measure the total length of all the walls to be covered and “round up” to the next foot.
-Multiply height x length = square feet to be covered. ( ex. ceiling height 8’8”; total length of wall 45’6”. Call it 9’ x 46’ = 414 sq.ft.)
- Deduct 24 square feet for each door or window. ( ex. 2 doors & 3 windows; deduct 120 sq.ft. Remainder is 294 sq. ft.)
- Then add 25% or more depending on the size of the pattern. (Call it 74 sq.ft.. Total is 368 sq.ft.)
- Divide the number of square feet to be covered by the number of square feet in a roll.
(ex. 368.ft. divided by 54 sq.ft. per bolt = 6.81 round up to 7 bolts.
Borders
Most spooled borders come in 5 yard rolls, which is equivalent to 15 feet. Check the product label for exact dimensions. Divide the yardage in the spool into the room diameter to determine the number of rolls needed.
